Why Cheqi?
Giving money is practical, but you still want to make it personal. With Cheqi you give a card to unwrap and an amount to spend as they like. You choose the message, the receiver chooses the gift.
As Personal as You Like
Make the card your own with words, photos or stickers. A memory, a warm wish or a joke only the two of you get: you decide what goes in it. Add a GIF for an extra surprise when the receiver scans the QR code.

Like a Universal Gift Card, but Fair
With a Cheqi the receiver is not tied to one shop or brand. The gift amount goes to their own bank account. Buying something nice, saving for something bigger or putting it towards an experience: the choice stays with the receiver.
A Regular Gift Card
- Only spendable at one store or chain.
- The credit expires after the expiry date.
- Never redeemed? The money is gone: it stays with the issuer.
A Cheqi
- The full amount on their own account, spendable anywhere.
- No credit that quietly expires.
- Not collected? After 60 days everything returns to the giver by itself.
Many gift cards only work at certain shops. With Cheqi you give money the receiver can spend however they like. And an amount that is never collected does not stay behind with us.
Not Collected? Then It Comes Back by Itself
Our payment partner keeps the gift amount apart until the receiver collects it. The receiver gets reminders to redeem the Cheqi. Not redeemed within the set period? Then the full gift amount automatically goes back to the giver.
